Case Study

MelodinaHuB / 2026

A feedback operating system for music lessons.

MelodinaHuB turns scattered student practice videos into a durable teaching loop — upload, annotate, revisit, and grow a shared lesson library over time.

Role

Product design, full-stack build, teacher-user

Scope

Research, UX system, video feedback workflow

Stack

React, Vite, Supabase, Bunny CDN

Result

Used with roughly 25 active students

Product Walkthrough

01

Context

Precise lesson feedback was happening, then dissolving afterward.

The core problem was not a lack of teaching. It was that the most useful notes lived in the moment — across messages, memory, and disconnected practice clips.

02

Intervention

Move feedback onto the timeline.

MelodinaHuB reframes each practice clip as a living lesson object. Feedback can be attached to the exact moment it matters — timestamped, annotated, and revisitable.

03

Product Model

Three spaces hold the system together.

Practice Room for student uploads and lesson review. Repository of Knowledge for durable teaching material. Social Sphere for lightweight visibility and community momentum.

04

Outcome

A small but real learning system.

The work moved beyond a concept page into a usable product loop tested with an active teaching practice. Students revisit precise feedback instead of relying on memory.

05

Build

A fast web stack for video-heavy teaching.

React and Vite for the surface. Supabase for accounts. Bunny CDN for 1080p-ready playback and sub-second perceived load — keeping uploads and feedback responsive for repeated weekly use.

06

Process

Designed from the inside of the problem.

Personal pain point from music teaching shaped the first product decisions. Solo execution covered research, interface design, and build. Iteration came from watching students return to feedback between lessons.
