Miratreino Case Study
Video Feedback Platform for Martial Arts.
MIRATREINO is a private video feedback platform for martial arts training. It reduces friction in student-coach feedback loops through structured uploads, visual annotation, and a single source of truth for progress over time.

Private Training Archive
One focused system for progress.
Feedback, movement references, and progress history live together instead of being scattered across chat threads.
The Friction
Corrections disappear too easily.
Chat histories make progress fragmented. Precise, moment-specific feedback is nearly impossible with simple text or voice notes, and there is no long-term audit trail.
The Shift
Upload. Annotate. Grow.
Students upload training videos. I provide timestamped feedback and draw directly on frames. The teaching library grows over time.
System
Three-section system
Training corner, Repository of Knowledge, Social Sphere.
Focused platform
Absolutely no connection to any external social media.
Video annotation
Timestamped comments and draw-over-video capabilities.
Modular architecture
Built for Capoeira and designed to adapt to other disciplines.

THE PLATFORM
Built for How Martial Artists Actually Train.
Every feature exists to reduce friction between athlete and coach — from the first upload to the final review.

UPLOAD & REVIEW
Upload Your Training. Get Instant Access.
Athletes upload training videos directly to their private archive. Every session is stored in one place — no scattered files, no lost footage. Coaches access the latest upload immediately without chasing down links.
TIMESTAMPED FEEDBACK
Pinpoint the Exact Moment That Needs Work.
Coaches drop comments at exact timestamps — no more “around the 2-minute mark.” Students know precisely what to fix and why. Feedback is tied to the moment, not buried in a thread.

VISUAL ANNOTATION
Draw Directly on the Frame. Make Corrections Visual.
Mark up video frames with arrows, lines, and freehand strokes. Show the student exactly where their stance broke down or where the strike should land. Visual corrections that are impossible to misread.

The Problem
The Friction
Corrections got lost in ephemeral chat histories. Progress felt fragmented across apps and devices, and moment-specific feedback was nearly impossible over text or voice — with no long-term audit trail.
The Shift
Upload. Annotate. Grow.
Students upload training videos directly to the platform. I give timestamped feedback and draw on their frames. The teaching library grows over time, so I can record once and assign repeatedly.

</> The Approach
I am the user, solving a problem from personal lived experience — solo full-stack execution as a Vibe Engineer: design → development → deployment, rapidly iterated with real students using AI-assisted tools.
The Future
Polish the platform, validate across disciplines — adding or removing features from user feedback, and expanding validation across BJJ and music teachers.
